Dr. Phelicia Flanagan grew up in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. She graduated in the first baccalaureate class at Peace College in Raleigh with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then attended The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University as a Brody Scholar. While in medical school, she became a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She then completed her OBGYN residency at The Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia in 2005.
Dr. Flanagan and her husband, Benji, knew they wanted to return to Raleigh after spending a few years here before she entered medical school. “Although I have only been with Wilkerson OBGYN since 2005, I hope this is where I practice for the rest of my career. I look forward to taking care of patients through many stages of their lives.”
In her spare time away from Wilkerson OBGYN, Dr. Flanagan enjoys exercising, watching sports and spending time with her family (husband, Benji; daughter, Claire; son, Jay and their beloved Vizsla, Zoey).
